I wasn’t planning to write again so soon, but I want to share this experience from today on the trail to Sarria. This donativo pilgrim oasis tops them all! It’s an old house and grounds that feels like you’ve entered a time warp to the 1960’s. As I entered a gentleman offered to make coffee for me. This is what he gave to me:
There was quite a crowd of pilgrims gathered to listen to a kind of jam session going on in the lounge area. Check this out….
There was a film crew with fancy equipment recording. I’m not sure who the focus was on, but the musicians were amazing.
I enjoyed my cake and coffee, also a banana, then left a few Euro in the donation basket. I’m so glad I got to experience this place.
I did not stay to attend the 11am “Love Workshop”. Thinking about it now, I should have!
Sending love from this groovy section of Spain.

That place is always a popular spot. It used to be own by a couple of artists. Don't know if they still own it.😍
What a delightful presentation of coffee with treats! A lovely and memorable stop on your journey to Santiago ❤️
